We are the first generation to really understand how humans are causing irrevocable damage to the planet and the last to be able to do something about it. This can feel like an huge responsibility and finding ways to do something about it, is not always straightforward. Although we can't predict the future, we can shape it through our values and actions.

So as a design consultant company & as a cultural broker, we consider that sustainability can be expressed in every steps of the process and must start as the marketing and creative stages. We are also very conscious that only an healthy and a flourish approach can make a business durable. For those reasons, we set up our manifesto that we named " Strike the balance ".

Strike the balance : manifeste

We believe to the balance through equity and quality, because we think that quality goes over quantity and that equity goes beyond equality.

1.We commit to strike the balance of sustainability and business, of physical and digital and of local and global.

2.We also agree to carefully select and to neatly audit projects and suppliers, we are collaborating.

3.We will exclusively work on ethical and meaningful projects avoiding as much as possible the waste and useless transportation, and promoting equity through work conditions and culture. That's why we passed the certification for fashion and sustainability : understanding luxury fashion in a changing world by London college of fashion & Kering

4.We call us cultural broker as sign up to be our clients' intermediary and to put our experience to assist our customers and partners in building communities and sustainable network. Thus, we are member of Common objective community.

Every element of fashion comes from nature.... Fashion is a compelling component of contemporary culture. Everyday day, we express our relationship with the natural world through what we choose to make or to buy and to wear. But how much do we really know about what we are saying through the clothes that we wear ?

Have a read below to some datas :

"83% of millennials today would boycott a brand for ethical reasons and, according to GLAMOUR’S 2019 activism survey, 82% of readers would never wear fur. » (1)

"Fashion brands investing in sustainability are 20% in 2018 and will rise up to 85% in less than 10 years," according to McKinsey's & Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana (CNMI), International Roundtable on Sustainability in March 2019.

"Only 65,7 % of french brands distributors know the source of their fabric supplier" IFM's study for Premiere Vision fabric fair in Paris last feb.

In conclusion, I'd like to quote Professor Helen Storey who realised at London Pancras train station the project Dress for our time, a dress created out of a decommissioned refugee tent was gifted by the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR)

None of us have all the answers – but by using creative ways to discuss the issues which really matter to us and future generations – we can find new ways to explore the evidence and stay in relationship to its truth” Helen Storey, Huffpost

Those are the reasons we capitalised on our past experience and decided to federate our knowledge and network to the best practice possible. Do you wanna get a durable business consulting ? Drop us message !
