La folie du mono produit

The mono product phenomenom started on the luxury pastry stage few years ago, when Christophe Adam launched " l'éclair de génie" and Popellini their exquisite cream puff ! Those 2 universes being linked, fashion brands started to capture it as well !

Few years later, a lot of new fashion brands are offering only 1 type of product in their collections. A good way to taste the market, so let's explore few of them ...



Mono products trends is also confirmed in Haute couture fashion week in Paris. Indeed, few days ago, Julie de Libran (ex Sonia Rykiel Creative director) presented her first collection of the eponym brand and surprise... She designed dresses only !

Septem Paris started in 2018 by offering jumpsuits only and this year, Jessica Troisfontaine the founder, finally opened it to an accessories and rtw collections.

Marie Marot, she is the leader of women smart shirt designs, her production is made in France. And she recently collaborated with Eric Bompard & Saint James for capsules collections.

C bergamia tailor made & half mesure pants brand base in Lyon, France. They use organic cotton and linen to create a range of high quality women's pants. Thus, they show a short but very sharp collection of bottoms.

Blazé blaser Milano is exclusivly working on sleeves pieces, they started to work on Blazer jackets and extended to coats.

Bonhomme created few year ago, tells a story about the myth of escaped scraf used by the British RAF army during WW2. They took Emmanuel Alphonse Bonhomme drawings, which were gathered by his grand son since 1879, to design modern scarves printed of maps or old pictures...And they just signed a capsule collection for Mode Trotter,a well know concept store in Paris.

REUNI, is a mono product brand which will be launched at Fall 19 By Adrien Garcia, the designer behind the great fashion podcast EDM ( See our summer list 19). The idea behind this sustainable label is to create one product at the time, one timeless piece of clothes artfully made for #togetherforabetternow. Les petites chattes is surfing on the casual embroidery product and is presenting made in France panties which all have a little embroidery at front.

Les petits Saints is removing small boobs complexes with the bralette collection named after the Spice girls, so you can buy a Mel B, an Emma or a Victoria's bra, using it as underwear, as a top or in a superposition !

Cardo swimwear is a french swimwear brand created in order to take swimwear to another level. The designer started by creating a swimming cap and realised that there were a gap in swimwear concerning pool's sports. She started by selling swimwear before to extend to some accessories (swimming pool shoes and bamboo towels)

This week-end in Paris, the founder Emannuelle Cardosi will explain her story at INTERFILLIERE show during a conference dedicated to swimwear 4.0.
